Our Client is an exciting Group of companies in iGaming and Finance. They are on the lookout for a Legal Counsel to help structure their compliance and legal entities.
 
As our legal counsel, you will be the guardian of our legal and compliance framework, ensuring that every innovation is not just groundbreaking, but also fully aligned with regulatory standards. You'll navigate the intricate web of laws and regulations, providing strategic guidance to our team as we shape the future of finance.

Responsible
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including but not limited to supplier contracts, licensing agreements, and partnership agreements.
  • Provide timely and accurate legal advice on a variety of matters related to GDPR, intellectual property (IP), marketing, and gaming regulatory compliance.
  • actively monitors ongoing developments throughout the company’s key markets in terms of regulatory developments within the fintech industry, advising stakeholders on potential impacts and ensuring proactive compliance measures are in place.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, finance, and compliance, to address legal issues and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Assists in the development of T&C’s and the implementation of policies, procedures, and training programmes to promote legal compliance and best practices across the group.
  • Represents the company in negotiations, meetings, and other legal proceedings as required.
  • Assists in and engages in the application of approvals in new jurisdictions as necessary and as required
 
Requirements
  • A legal degree and at least 3 years' experience in igaming or fintech.
  • Excellent English writing and communication skills, with other languages a bonus
  • Strong understanding of GDPR, IP, gaming, and fintech regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
