A well established Bank is looking to hire a Compliance Analyst to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Compliance Manager.
Responsibilities:- Assist in ensuring the Bank meets its compliance obligations under various laws, regulations, and banking rules.
- Contribute to the development, improvement, and implementation of controls to manage and reduce compliance risks.
- Support compliance monitoring and testing efforts, analyzing results, and identifying any gaps or issues.
- Report significant concerns or findings to the Compliance Manager.
- Help implement new compliance tests and reviews.
- Assist the Bank in maintaining a robust compliance framework, including keeping the compliance register updated.
- Promote greater compliance awareness and foster a strong compliance culture throughout the organization.
Requirements:- A qualification in banking, finance, law or other relevant field.
- Minimum two years experience in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of Maltese and European banking legislation including Banking Rules.
- Excellent command in English language.
