  • 1 Working alongside the Compliance Manager on keeping abreast on the relevant regulations including any implementation of applicable rules and regulations;
  • 2 Updating of inhouse Corporate and Funds Structure charts, maintenance of Staff Handbooks for Malta and UK, Compliance logbooks.
  • 3 Review of policies and procedures on a quarterly basis for Malta and UK entities;
  • 4 Assistance with reviewing of agreements, drafting of resolutions (when required);
  • 5 Keeping abreast with regulatory changes including reviewing of regulatory newsletters issued;
  • 6 Preparation and compilation of documents for quarterly compliance monitoring for Malta and UK entities;
  • 7 Compilation of ad-hoc compliance requests from the Malta & UK Compliance Officers, Banks and other service providers;
  • 8 Compliance daily monitoring and other regulatory forms for one of the Funds managed by the UK entity;
  • 9 Working alongside the MLRO in;
  • 10 Obtaining requests from the fund administrator and maintenance of due diligence documentation for the Companies, Directors and related entities;
  • 11 Compiling due diligence documentation and testing for outsourced critical functions, AIFs under management, its delegates and compilation of Report on any findings
  • 12 Follow up on quarterly staff declarations
  • 13 Assistance during offsite compliance monitoring reviews
  • 14 Understanding the compliance and regulatory requirements and improving the administrative processes for a more efficient workflow.
  • 15 Compilation of Board Packs
  • 16 Assistance in the drafting of Board Minutes
  • 17 Assistance in the compilation of regulatory returns for the Malta and UK entities
  • 18 Forming part of the Group’s GDPR working group and updating of inhouse records and logbooks (as required;
  • 19 Other compliance matters:
  • 20 Compiling and preparing AML/compliance reports, presentations for Board/Executive Meetings (upon request);
  • 21 Updating of an entity management system with latest updates on the corporate entities;
  • 22 Updating the team with regulatory updates and implementation of Company policies e.g. ESG team days, , Business Continuing Testing etc.

    The ideal Candidate will have : 


  • Previous experience in a law firm, legal department, or a similar role
    Bachelor of Commerce, Diploma in Law (or equivalent)
    Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
    efficiently
    Self-motivated with high-performance standards, able to work independently and as a part of a
    team
    Enthusiastic with excellent interpersonal skills
