Malta office of international insurance sector client seeks to hire a Financial Accountant.
Responsibilities:- Prepare the journals entries for the Group Investments and Group Technical accounting.
- Perform monthly reconciliations related to the Finance department.
- Assist in the preparation of the monthly financial reporting packs and the quarterly Board packs.
- Assist in the preparation of the consolidated financial statements.
- Implementing and monitoring of adequate internal controls.
- Contributing to the documentation and review of finance policies and procedures.
Requirements:- Fully qualified accountant or in an advanced stage of completion of qualification leading to CPA.
- 3 years experience in an accounting role in the insurance industry or having audited insurance clients.
- Knowledge of Solvency II, IFRS and UK GAAP requirements is an asset.
- Excellent command in English language.
