As
Head of Business Intelligence (BI), you’ll translate project goals into measurable metrics, design new KPIs to evaluate business impact, and generate innovative ideas. You will also align stakeholders with actionable insights to help guide strategy and execution.
Main Responsibilities:- Understand and refine BI requests to create consolidated, actionable reports that align teams and provide clarity on trends and progress;
- Enhance data integrity, streamline data-related request processes, and improve reporting quality and delivery speed;
- Reduce redundant reporting by consolidating and re-purposing configurable reports for cross-department use;
- Design and advocate for new metrics to help executives identify trends and opportunities;
- Deliver core performance reports and insights to improve road maps and KPIs for existing initiatives;
- Conduct industry trend analysis, competitive research, and SWOT exercises to identify opportunities and threats;
- Develop and implement a BI strategy aligned with company objectives to drive data-driven decisions and business performance.
Core Competencies:- Comfortable collaborating with engineers, defining data requirements, troubleshooting tech stack issues, and managing projects in JIRA;
- Proficient with tools like Tableau, Power BI, Excel, SQL, and other data visualization software;
- Clear ability to interpret, visualise, and communicate data insights through compelling narratives;
- Skilled at combining internal and external data for competitor analysis and strategic decision-making;
- Proven ability to lead by example, build high-performing teams, and manage complex projects under pressure with a positive and persuasive approach;
- Exceptional organisational skills to juggle multiple priorities and communicate progress effectively.
Preferred Experience:- Senior-level BI/Data/Engineering experience in Sports-betting or Casino operations (5+ years);
- Track record of designing and delivering BI programs;
- Expertise in Tableau, SQL, Google Big Query, and Excel; experience with Python or other programming languages is a plus;
- Experience with statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning techniques is an advantage;
- Experience working with remote, cross-cultural teams and maintaining flexible hours for collaboration.
