Our client a corporate services firm headquartered in Cyprus has been recently experiencing vast growth locally and in the UAE, is looking to hire an Accountant to assist with the new projects and clients joining. Their clientele consists of international businesses, local companies, and high-net-worth individuals. The successful candidates will be diligent and detail-oriented. They will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing a range of accounting tasks, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

They will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing a range of accounting tasks, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintaining bookkeeping records in accordance with local laws and regulations.
- Preparing and processing payroll, ensuring compliance with social insurance and other statutory requirements.
- Managing accounts payable and receivable as well collections.
- Handling bank reconciliations and monitoring bank transactions.
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns and other tax-related filings.
- Collaborating with auditors to prepare financial statements.
- Communicating effectively with clients, banks, and regulatory authorities if and when needed.
Qualifications and Experience needed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA) is preferred but not necessary.
- Other accounting qualifications are preferrable.
- Minimum of 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a corporate services firm, accounting or audit firm or relevant.
- Strong knowledge of Cyprus VAT regulations and tax compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English is a must, Greek will be considered as a competitive advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
