Our client is a performance-driven lead generation company specialising in high-intent customer acquisition across iGaming (casino & sports betting), Finance, Health, and Communications.
The Role:
We’re looking for a
Head of Performance Marketing to lead and expand our client's Paid Acquisition and Conversion efforts in the iGaming and Finance verticals, with a strong focus on the US market.
This role requires deep expertise in high-budget performance marketing across Social Media Ads, SEM, and Programmatic advertising, as well as experience in affiliate tracking, BI, data analysis, and CRO. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial mindset, strategic leadership skills, and a thorough understanding of digital marketing in regulated industries such as online gambling and financial services.
You’ll have full ownership over budget allocation, marketing strategy, and team leadership, working closely with agency partners, designers, developers, and content teams to drive scalable growth.
Experience with US gambling regulations, major sportsbook brands, and state-specific acquisition strategies is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute a performance marketing strategy, scaling paid media campaigns across multiple channels (Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok, Programmatic, Native Advertising, Display, Video, etc.);
- Manage and optimise high-budget campaigns (€500K+ per month), particularly in the US market for iGaming and financial services;
- Oversee media buying strategies tailored to US-regulated markets, ensuring compliance with state-by-state online gambling regulations;
- Manage relationships with agency clients and key partners to drive high-performance campaigns;
- Utilise BI tools (Google Analytics, Looker, Tableau, Power BI) to track, analyse, and optimise marketing performance;
- Implement affiliate tracking systems (HasOffers, Tune, Cake, Everflow) for campaign effectiveness;
- Optimise customer acquisition funnels, improving landing pages and conversion paths through A/B testing;
- Scale and manage teams of 5+ marketing professionals, including in-house specialists, freelancers, and agency partners;
- Establish strong partnerships with key operators, affiliates, and media buying platforms in iGaming;
- Implement rigorous testing frameworks (A/B & multivariate testing) to enhance campaign efficiency;
- Monitor and adjust marketing budgets dynamically based on performance data and business goals;
- Deliver high-impact presentations showcasing insights, performance data, and strategic recommendations;
- Stay ahead of industry trends to refine and innovate marketing strategies, particularly in the evolving US gambling market.
Ideal Candidate Profile: - 5+ years of experience in performance marketing, with expertise in iGaming (casino & sports betting) and financial services;
- Proven track record of managing large-scale advertising budgets (€500K+ per month), particularly in US-regulated markets;
- Strong expertise in PPC, Paid Social, Programmatic Advertising, and Affiliate Tracking technologies;
- Deep knowledge of US gambling operators, compliance requirements, and market-specific acquisition strategies;
- Experience working with leading iGaming brands, sportsbooks, or affiliate networks in the US;
- Strong understanding of US market segmentation, customer behavior, and licensing restrictions;
- Proven ability to manage relationships with agency clients, media partners, and operators in gaming;
- Analytical mindset with expertise in Google Analytics, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, and data visualisation tools;
- Experience in CRO, funnel optimisation, and landing page A/B testing to improve conversions;
- Proven leadership experience, managing and mentoring teams of 5+ people;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate strategies and insights to internal teams and external partners;
- Experience with CRM tools and marketing automation platforms is a plus;
- Fluent in English (written & verbal).
