An international manufacturing and retail company is looking to hire an Accountant who will join their growing Malta team. The role also includes accounting support for their UK entity, working alongside the other team members.
Responsibilities: - Prepare monthly management accounts.
- Handle VAT returns and support tax compliance.
- Assist with internal audits and external statutory audits.
- Ensure timely compliance with finance and tax filing requirements.
- Support process improvements and systems integration.
- Generate ad-hoc financial reports for management.
- Manage cross-functional projects and liaise with suppliers, auditors, and consultants.
Requirements: - Fully qualified accountant with 2+ years of accounting experience, audit experience is a plus.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Organized, proactive, and capable of working independently or in a team.
- Willing to travel occasionally.
